We Love Our New HVAC System

I would like to start off by saying Oscar and his team are incredibly professional. By professional I mean they showed up at the time they said they would, they took great care of keeping everything clean by laying covers down on the floor, their work is impeccable from the complete removal of the old hvac unit and components to the installation of the new hvac unit. Their work is really clean they put a lot of attention to detail. Also forgot to mention Oscar informed me of the options for hvac units and is incredibly knowledgeable in this area. When he fist quoted me he gave me many options and took the time to explain what each one was and what the different cost and benefit was along with future benefits of certain hvac units. (I decided on a heat pump system which no longer uses natural gas to heat up the furnace) this will reduce my gas bill during the colds months and it has some homeowner tax credits which was a major reason we went with the heat pump system. In the end if you are looking for people you can trust, have great products and don’t cut corners I would suggest you call Oscar and his team. You will not find a better team that works like them or takes the time to explain and really make you feel comfortable. Thank you Oscar and his team once again we love our new hvac system.

We recently decided to install a split system in my studio. We got three quotes, Oscar was the by far the most prompt returning our call, coming out to look at the job, most comprehensive in designing the installation, and sending our quote. Did a Superb, Clean and On-Time Job

We were referred to Oscar by our heating and AC repairman when our 66-year-old furnace finally bit the dust back in 2019. Oscar and his team replaced that furnace, including opening a duct into the master bath (which previously had always been cold) and did a superb, clean and on-time job. Today, we called Oscar as the thermostat would not go on and he was here within two hours. He quickly found the source of the problem to be a faulty sensor, called and found a replacement, picked it up and returned to our house within the hour to fix the issue. We can’t express how appreciative we are for his quick response as it is a Friday and he spared my husband and me from a chilly weekend. Thank you, Oscar.

Absolutely No Complaints

Oscar is a magician, simple as that. We recently replaced our HVAC system and ductwork and had quotes from several companies. Our primary complaint with our existing 20yr old system was that it did not effectively cool the main bedroom and was very loud. Out of the 3 companies that came out and quoted us, Airmatix was the only one who took the time to plan out design of a new system. The other 2 claimed they would do their best to get better airflow to the bedroom but couldn't promise anything because of our tight attic space and were pretty much just going to swap out the components and call it a day. I wasn't thrilled about spending a bunch of money to maybe solve the problem so I went with Airmatix. They were a bit more expensive than the others -but still very reasonable- which is expected with the increased scope of work performed.

Airmatix completely redesigned our ductwork, installed 4 vents in areas that didn't previously have them, and got us set up with a system that is very quiet and efficient. We had to wait a bit for our appointment but after the work was completed I can understand why these guys are so busy. I have absolutely no complaints, not even minor bothers with the work that was performed. The full job took 3 days and my home was spotless every night before the crew left. The big kicker for me here is that the main bedroom is now registering the exact same temperature as the rest of the house. In fact, every room in the house is roughly the same temp at all times of the day. That to me is magic.

Gave Me Options to Extend the Life of My AC

I hired Airmatix to perform maintenance on my two HVAC units at my house. Oscar was very professional, clean, and followed COVID safety guidelines, including mask, gloves, shoe covers, etc. I had missed a few year of keeping the units maintained and it showed. But he did a thorough job of checking and cleaning all the components. He even detected a failing capacitor and replaced it on one of the compressors. He clearly explains any issues and gave me options to extend the life of my AC without any pressure. It was a very good experience and he's a nice guy and seems to take a lot of pride in his work. I am very satisfied with his work and at a very reasonable price. Especially with the big heat wave coming this weekend. He guarantees his work so no worries there. They Left My House Better than They Found It

I am so very, very impressed by the Airmatix people. I have done construction and have some insight to good and poor. After several bids to replace my HVAC, Oscar’s Airmatix bid was most reasonable, (also I confirmed everything in the various bids with my son, an out-of-market Journeyman HVAC Technician). In the bid process, Oscar presented me with options. Among the options, I wanted the AC Coil/Compressor moved from my patio. I also desired a 2 zone system. It took 3 days. They laid down coverings over my carpeted steps (HVAC in attic). They removed old HVAC and installed new HVAC without any damage to house or property. They were flexible, and after discussion, they ran lines outside my house that were visually appealing. The Airmatix professionals also installed and sealed all the new vent grills. When they were done the Pro’s even vacuumed afterward; they left my house better than they found it. I could easily go into greater detail because I was not expecting the excellence I received. If only every company would be like Airmatix. Haha, yes, after spending thousands on an HVAC system you want to feel like I do. I highly, highly recommend Airmatix. BTW, I am in no way related to, or have I previously known anyone working for Airmatix. This is a most sincere review.

Our Air Conditioner Was up and Running in No Time

I've had so many bad experiences with service people and contractors I've hired. From rude, smelly, and plain out thieves ready to jump on any opportunity to rip you off. So when I heard loud noises coming from the air conditioner on a 100 Degree day during Covid pandemic I panicked. I went straight to yelp to find a 5 star HVAC service repair man. One requirement was to find a company that not only had 5 star reviews but also a company that mentioned their added safety measures during Covid lockdown. Oscar arrived about 90 min after my call. He came prepared with mask,gloves , and shoe coverings for when he had to come into the house. Oscar was polite, professional and didn't try to find something to up charge us for.....which is easy for any repair man to do. His prices were very reasonable and our air conditioner was up And running in no time. We will definitely recommend Oscar to friends and definitely call him in the future for other AC/ Heater repair needs.

Really Appreciate the Excellent Service

Hi Yelpers. I made an appointment with Oscar last Saturday night after I turned on my AC and there was not cold air coming out. I know it was close to late night and he took my text message and mage an appointment for Monday between 11AM-1PM. He texted me 20 minutes before he arrived. He quoted me in advance so I was able to prepare a check and had someone at our house during the time he is arriving. He did a maintenance on the heating and cooling (God knows when I had this done last, maybe never... Lol Got the unit in 2010.). He did mention that some of the duct work was undersized. I noticed that too because we get less air in our master bedroom compare to the 2 bathrooms and other rooms. I'm getting a quote from him to see if we can replace the duct work and improve air flow. I finally got tired of my old HVAC provider - every time they came for the recommended twice yearly preventive maintenance, they always found something wrong with my furnace or air conditioner. Each time I begrudgingly paid, because I don't know a thing about HVAC systems and I didn't want my thousands of dollars of investment to go kaput. Well, this last time, when they wanted to charge and collect from me $900 for recommended services - services that they hadn't even performed yet but would schedule in the coming weeks - I finally had it. I happened to see a Home Advisor commercial that day and gave the service a chance. I am thankful that it recommended Airmatix. Oscar immediately called me, we talked about the services that my old provider recommended, his quote was less than theirs, and he was even willing to come out and work on a Saturday. He was polite, friendly, clean, and honest. My old provider had wanted to charge me $500 to clean the blower motor. Oscar looked at it and said it didn't require cleaning. Whereas my old provider was obviously just trying to extract more money from me, Oscar gave me a truthful assessment of the unit even if it meant charging me less. I will be switching may HVAC provider now to Airmatix and Oscar. I recommend him highly!

If I could, I would give Airmatix 6 stars! From beginning to end, my entire experience with Oscar and his team was excellent. I have an old house which had no existing ducts or vents. Airmatix did a full central heating and cooling installation. Oscar is honest, reliable, communicative and has a strong work ethic. It was a 2 1/2 day job. At the end of each day, you would have never known they were here. No extra dust or mess of any kind. Each day, Oscar would update me with all the details of what had been done, and what still needed to be done. Oscar and all the guys on his team were friendly, respectful, prompt and professional every step of the way. Prior to selecting Airmatix, I got estimates from five different companies. There was no hard sell with Oscar, and his was the lowest bid. The final bill was the same as the estimate. The work is now done, the vents look great and the system is working perfectly! Honest, dependable, nice... did I mention honest. When it comes to HVAC, there are some real shady people out there so when you have the opposite in your home they deserve the highest appreciation and praise. They're really busy so you may have to wait but it's worth it.
